Yew Tree Sangha

We are a group who meet regularly to practise meditation and mindfulness in the tradition of Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. Our practice includes a short reading from one of Thich Nhat Hanh’s books, guided and silent sitting meditations, and a walking/moving meditation. We also practise mindful sharing, which gives us an opportunity to share our thoughts about the practice in our daily lives, therefore learning and supporting each other in our mindfulness practice.

We meet in ’The Potting Shed’ at Yew Tree Wellness on the Alderley Edge / Wilmslow border, which is a beautiful holistic wellness centre, consisting of converted farm buildings overlooking fields. Please see the Yew Tree Wellness website for further information about the venue: www.yewtreewellness.co.uk

If you are interested in enjoying an opportunity to discover peace, calm and relaxation through mindfulness meditation, then please do come and join us. All are welcome, as gentle guidance is offered to everyone who is new to the practice.

The group is run by volunteers and the meditations are offered for free, but a suggested donation towards room hire of around £5 would be very welcome, if you can afford it.

The evening includes a hot drink and a biscuit, if you would like one!
